On the occasion of the 82nd. Venice International Film Festival, Side Academy presented a new edition of the Night of the Golden Dragons, the institutional event dedicated to showcasing the talent and creative excellence of its students.
During the evening, the student reel 2025, an official selection of the best work produced within the academic tracks, was previewed, with the aim of showcasing technical skills, artistic growth and production achievements.

The event was held at the Laguna Hall, a few steps from the red carpet of the Venice Film Festival, and was attended by numerous professionals active in the film, animation and visual effects industries, some of whom work remotely for the academy. Guests included Andrea Geremia, Silvia Pasqualetto, Sarah Arduini, Elena Vitanza and Stefano Dubay, who shared experiences, approaches and professional perspectives with the students.

To celebrate the evening, Side Academy also set up a hospitality truck for the party that took place after the event.

The Night of the Golden Dragons thus confirms itself as a central event in Side Academy’s institutional identity, not only as an award-giving moment but as a direct bridge between education and industry, offering students visibility, opportunities for professional dialogue and a public presentation of their achievements in one of the most prestigious settings in international cinema.
