New courses and expansion of educational offerings:

Side Academy continues its path of academic growth and consolidation by presenting a new educational offering that integrates artistic disciplines, digital skills and emerging technologies applied to creativity. The goal is to offer paths that are increasingly adherent to the demands of the visual entertainment, design and digital production industries, with a multidisciplinary approach oriented toward practice, design research and professionalization.

Within the academic expansion, new Three-Year and Master‘s courses have been introduced, designed to meet the needs of students with different goals, timeframes and levels of preparation. The entire proposal is aligned with the models of leading international schools in CGI, VFX, animation, digital art, fashion and fashion design and media entertainment.

The new disciplines:

• CGI & VFX – Digital production, visual effects and virtual sets for film and TV series.
• Fashion & Costume Design – Tailoring, costume design and digital fashion for fashion, entertainment and media entertainment.
• Videogame Design & Development – Game art, level design and interactive development for video games and digital experiences.
• Cinematography & Directing – Directing, photography and audiovisual language for film, TV and advertising.
• Fine Arts in Digital Production – Drawing, painting, sculpture and visual research between artistic tradition and digital production.
• Content Creation + AI & Digital Marketing – Visual communication, digital strategy, multimedia production and AI applied to content.
• Concept Art, Illustration & Comics – Drawing, concept art, character design and illustrated storytelling for film, video games and publishing.

These pathways expand Side Academy’s identity as an educational hub that combines artistic tradition and technological innovation, offering skills ranging from the more classical disciplines of representation to contemporary digital languages.

All this will be presented at Job&Orienta in Verona Nov. 26-29 and at the Open Day on Dec. 6.
