Side Academy is the only acacdemi in italy awarded with a winner for the Fashion Design category for Rookie Awards 2025.
Francesco Messina, a 2nd year student in the three-year CGI program, wanted to specialize in fashion design as his thesis. Followed by Side Academy faculty, through the use of Marvelous Designer, a specialized software used in the fashion and film world, he made an original dress inspired by the Victorian era with a fantasy twist. She then made three other garments inspired by three different episodes of the acclaimed Netflix series, Love, Death & Robots.
